Joni Syrjälä has been appointed Escarmat’s Quality and Health and Safety Manager

Escarmat is now investing even more in quality assurance, which is why a new Quality Manager role was opened.

The role of the quality manager includes, e.g., complaint processing, maintenance of work instructions and quality system measures, such as audits.  In addition, the Quality Manager acts as the supervisor of the inspectors.

Syrjälä’s studies in electrical engineering at the University of Vaasa are nearly complete, during which he is currently working on his Master’s thesis for Escarmat. The subject of the thesis is “Applicability of IEC 60079 and ATEX standards in control cabinet manufacturing”.

The Production Director acts as the supervisor of the Quality Manager.
